ABOUT
Read more(b. Bologna, Italy, 1986), Visual Artist based in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
His work explores the intersection of ecology, community, and visuality through long-term, research-based projects in Southeast Asia. Pietro holds an MFA from Chiang Mai University, where he is currently a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Multidisciplinary Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts.
He has exhibited internationally at institutions such as the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) and Harvard University. In 2025, he received the Unidee Illy Award from Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto in recognition of his ongoing artistic research along the Mekong River.
